Morgan Livingston

Hi, I'm Morgan.

I research tech, law, and policy, focusing on AI governance.

I previously was a TechCongress Fellow in the US Senate and a Science Policy Fellow working on Executive Branch and White House Office of Science and Technology Policy projects. I have also been a privacy nerd with Dr. King at Stanford focusing on dark patterns and data commons, and an emerging tech research assistant with the Wilson Center. I completed my Masters of Global Affairs at Tsinghua University in Beijing through Schwarzman Scholars and my bachelors in Computer Science and Law at UC Berkeley

My thinking loosely clusters around the question: How can we innovate on legal and governance design to create the technologies and futures we want?
